Roger Walker, age 82, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

Roger was born on October 25, 1942, in Dahlonega to the late Wiley Walker and the late Ruby Patton Walker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers William Walker, Gene Walker, and Lonnie Walker.

He is survived by his siblings, Joan Siemsen, Warren Walker, Derrell Walker, and Morris Walker, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

Roger was a simple man who spent his life working hard as a truck driver. His dedication and work ethic were admired by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the service hour.
