Ronnie "Pete" Abercrombie passed away February 21, 2025. He was born in Dahlonega on May 28, 1951, and was a life-long resident of Lumpkin County.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Abercrombie; mother Janet Shreffler; step-father Max Shreffler; brother Tim Abercrombie; sister Ginger Lee; brother-in-law Buster Hicks; brother-in-law C.F. Lingerfelt; and cousin Steve Mayo.

He is survived by his son, Scott Abercrombie (Kelly);  son David Abercrombie; brother Alan Shreffler; sisters Sue Hicks, Karen Lingerfelt, Terry Forrester (Jeff), and Elaine Leger (Phil); brother-in-law Horace Lee; and grandson Zane Abercrombie.

A memorial service will be held at Anderson-Underwood Funeral home on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 1 pm to 3 pm. Everyone is welcomed to attend.
