Mrs. Rosa Eldine "Ma Dean" Gilreath, age 95, of Suches, Georgia passed away on September 21, 2021. She was born on April 29, 1926, in Suches to the late Jack Holloway and Carrie Winnie Woody Holloway. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Woodrow Gilreath, Sr. and two granddaughters, Brandi Nicole Chapman, and April Gilreath Rocker.

She is survived by her children, Carolyn (Carlton) Chapman of Suches, Carl Woodrow, Jr. (Christy) Gilreath of Dahlonega, and Donnie (Nena) Gilreath of Macon; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren, as well as one on the way. Numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 24, 2021, at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Derrick Pruitt will officiate. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Zion Baptist Church, where she will be laid to rest beside her loving husband. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
