Mrs. Rosemary Francis O'Keefe, age 78, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on July 23, 1943, to the late Lewis and Mary Garrigus.

Rosemary was a retiree of California State University Long Beach, where she was involved in teacher certification. She was an active member of the Georgia Mountain Unitarian Universalist Church and enjoyed volunteering at the Holly Theater.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, Thomas O'Keefe and brother Lewis Garrigus Jr.

Rosemary leaves behind her son, Jeff (Rhonda) Heins of Newnan; grandsons Trafford, Grant, and William of Newnan; sisters Janet Warren of Orlando, FL and Alice Garrigus of Phoenix, AZ; numerous nieces, nephews, and many close friends also survive.

A memorial service for Mrs. O'Keefe will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Rosemary to the Georgia Mountain Unitarian Universalist Church.
