Mrs. Roxie Jo Holt, age 72, of Dahlonega, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017.

Roxie was born in Kewanee, IL on February 24, 1945 to James G. Marsh and Patricia Dickerson Lindsey. Known as being energetic, and the most independent woman in the world, Roxie will always be remembered for her sarcastic wit.  She was dedicated to loving and raising her children while being committed to multiple jobs to meet their needs.  In addition to her children, Roxie loved her pets and copper stuff of any kind.  You would often find her at an antique store, a craft booth, or a yard sale.  Roxie was an artist, loving to paint and draw.

Survivors include her daughters and sons in law Heidi and Paul Lyon, Dahlonega; Holly and Lloyd Cribbs, Dover, FL; mother Patricia Lindsey, Kewanee, IL; cousins Arleta and Darden Cobb, Norcross; David Lawrence, St. Pete, FL; grandchildren Jonathan Hart, Debbora Stone, James Stone, Joshua Limauro, Alexandria Deluca, Alyssa Deluca, Sara Deluca, Gabriel Deluca, Hunter Cribbs, and great granddaughter Camille Limauro.

Roxie's wishes were to be cremated and her children will have a private memorial service at a later date.
