Ruby Catherine Davis, age 96, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on December 10, 2025. Born on February 11, 1929, in Towns County, Georgia, Ruby was the daughter of the late Vester and Irene (Flanagan) Brown. A woman of deep faith, quiet strength, and enduring love for her family, Ruby lived a long and meaningful life rooted in kindness and dedication.

In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leeman Davis; her son, Phillip Davis; her daughters-in-law, Linda Davis and Kathy Davis; her granddaughter, Charlotte Reeves; and several siblings.

Ruby is survived by her loving children: James (Carolyn) Davis, Jimmy Davis, Deborah (James) Adams, and Lamarce Davis (Michael Rhoden). She is also survived by her brother, Daniel (Mary Lou) Brown; her brother-in-law, Dan (Dola) Davis; as well as her devoted grandchildren: Darin Davis, Jamie (Tony) Boggus, Brian (Becky) Davis, Todd (Teresa) Davis, Christopher (Candace) Davis, Daina Askea, and Greg (Candace Parker) Adams. She leaves behind 25 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives who will forever cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home, with interment to follow in the Davis Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
