RubyAnne Rider Lingerfelt, age 61, of Dawsonville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025. She was born on May 9, 1964, to the late Major Bolton and Ruby Rice Bolton.

RubyAnne had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy in jeep riding through the mountains. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James Earl Bolton; and her sister, Helen Swafford.

RubyAnne is survived by her devoted husband, Tracy Lingerfelt; her children, Jonathan Rider (Heather), Justin Rider, and Tabatha Rider (Chad Carhart); her sister, Sue McBrayer; her brothers, Carl Bolton (Jean) and John Bolton (Kris), all of Dawsonville; grandchildren Carson Rider, Dalton Rider, Jasmine Rider, Allison Rider, and Dash Rider.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 29, 2025, in the Chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Ross and the Rev. Scott Sorrels officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
