Mrs. Ruth Elrod Botts, age 81, of Gainesville, GA, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014. She spent most of her life in Lumpkin County and was a retired LPN. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. Ruth was the daughter of the late Wash and Mary Duff Elrod, and was also preceded in death by her husband, J D Botts. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Bill Miller, Dawsonville, GA; son, Jimmy Botts, Gainesville, GA; daughter, Brenda Holland, Dawsonville, GA; and son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Tammy Botts, Panama City Beach, FL. 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a number of other relatives also survive.
