Mrs. Ruthie "Mama Ruthie" Holland Robertson, age 81, of Dahlonega passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019.

Mrs. Robertson was born in Lumpkin County on September 22, 1938 to the late Leon and Mary Sullens.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands Marvin Fields and Robert Robertson and brother Willie Dee Sullens.  Mrs. Robertson was faithful in preaching jail ministry for 21 years and loved playing the washboard in church.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-laws Douglas and Charlotte Fields, Gainesville, Michael and Lucille Fields, Gainesville, Tony and Liz Fields, Dahlonega, Kenny and Wanda Fields, Cumming, and Stanley and Nellie Fields, Dawsonville; son Troy Fields, Gainesville ; sisters Cora Ash, and Elizabeth Arrowood; sister and brother-in-law Arlene and Harold Ivey; brothers and sisters-in-laws Clarence and Inez Sullens, Ernest and Buffy Sullen, and Curtis and Ann Sullens; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, October 18, 2019 at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home.  The Rev. James Wilbanks and the Rev. Ray Strickland will officiate.  Interment will follow at Word of Life Pentecostal Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
