Mrs. Sandra "Alice" Swimmer, age 61, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away January 11, 2022, at Northside Forsyth Hospital, surrounded by her family. Anyone who knew Alice knew that she loved her family, friends, and her collections, including all things purple. Her family and friends will miss her more than words can say.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Jewel and Sandra Copeland Reed; aunts Mary Ruth Copeland, Harriet Palmer and Betty Karr; and grandparents Hester and Oscar Hill, Harry Copeland, Paul and Irene Reed, and Alice Reed.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Swimmer of Dahlonega; son and daughter-in-law Justin and Amber Patterson of Snellville; sister and brother-in-law Patsy "Pat" and Hubert Cagle of Dahlonega; brother and sister-in-law Matthew and Lynn Reed of Dahlonega; nieces April West, Amy Dockery, Ariel Cofield and Emma Reed; nephew Austin (Ashley) Reed; and beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church ,4632 Auraria Road, Dahlonega, GA 30533.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Jeremy Nelson, along with the many other doctors, nurses, and staff at Northside Forsyth Hospital that have helped through the years.
