Sara Skinner
Loggins
May 13, 1943 – December 26, 2022
Sara Skinner Loggins went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, December 26, 2022. Sara was the 5th child of 10 born to the late Lee and Claudine Skinner. They loved and worked hard growing up in a home that also loved Christ. She was a beautician for over 30 years. She loved her clients and enjoyed doing hair. Sara battled paranoid schizophrenia and manic depression for many years; her strength, her love of Christ, and the support of her family allowed her to fight it with dignity and Grace. Unfortunately, ultimately dementia stole her from us. But our loss is heaven's gain. Sara was a member of Chestatee Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, Sara is preceded in death by her brother Aubrey Skinner, sister Betty Bennett, brother and sister-in-law Austin and Bonnie Skinner, brother-in-law Charles Woody and sisters-in-law Charlotte Skinner and Wanda Skinner.
Sara is survived by the love of her life Charles Moose. She and Charles loved each other for over 40 years; they held fast to each other through good times and bad.
She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Lamar Samples; grandsons and their wives, Tyler and Kaitlyn Samples, Logan and Katie Samples; great-granddaughter Layla Samples; brother Winfred Skinner; brothers and sister-in-laws David and Denise Skinner, Wendell and Diane Skinner; sister Francis Woody; sisters and brothers-in-law Hazel and Raymond Dover, and Joan and Melvin Woodruff; brother-in-law Buzzy Bennett.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Sara's memory to Chestatee Baptist Church, c/o Melvin Woodruff, 3630 Ledan Rd, Gainesville, Ga 30506
