Mrs. Sarah "Bea" Elizabeth Marr Woody, age 80, of Canton passed away Friday, September 3, 2021.

Mrs. Woody was born in Isabella, TN on February 28, 1941, to the late Eley and Bertha Cantrell Marr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Rosa Lou Tritt and Agnes Parker. She loved watching her beloved grandson, who called her "MawMaw", play baseball and basketball. Mrs. Woody enjoyed the beach, estate sales, and real estate. She was the co-owner of Woodstock Pet & Livestock Supply and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist No. 2 "The Hill Church".

Survivors include her husband of 60 years Robert "Bobby" Woody; daughter Rhonda Woody; son Robert (Cathy) Woody, Jr., all of Canton; grandson Robert Dallas Woody; brothers Bud (Jane) Marr of Warrenton, and Charlie Marr of Fayetteville; sister Pat (J.D.) Long of McCaysville; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Steve Rhoten will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist No. 2 "The Hill Church" Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
