Mrs. Sarah Fields Pittman, age 77, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022. She was born on March 26, 1945, in Dahlonega, Georgia to the late Barney Fields and the late Donnie Belle Grindle Fields.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby David Pittman.

She is survived by her daughters, Jodi (Jim) Ligon of Dahlonega, Georgia and Sheri (Trevor) Hooper of Gainesville, Georgia; grandchildren Scooter Ligon, Tyler Hooper, Emily Hooper and Adam Hooper; brother and sister-in-law John and Joyce Fields; nieces Nicole (Rob) Reh and Candi (Ashley) Wilkins; great nieces and nephews Kylie Reh, Nicholas Reh, John Robert Reh, Abram Wilkins and Elin Wilkins; bonus sister-in-law Joan Smith. Numerous friends and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home with Rev. Lyman Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Cavender Creek Baptist Church, with the Rev. Steve Barrett officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
