Mr. Scott L. Flanagan, age 62, of Dahlonega, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

Scott was born in Cumming, GA on June 21, 1962, to the late Lee Roy and Barbara Carnes Flanagan. He was a dedicated employee of Tyson Foods for over forty years. Scott loved the outdoors, especially time by the creek or a good ride on his four-wheeler. He loved "old school" Rock and Country music.

Survivors include his wife, of forty years, Kim Flanagan; children Brian Smith, Bruce Smith, Pamela Smith, and Tristan Flanagan, all of Dahlonega; sister Denise Chumbler (Curtis), Cumming; grandchildren Brandon Smith, Bryson Smith, Scottie Smith, Brooke Jackson, and Brently Smith; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
