Mr. Shane Gable, age 49, of Dahlonega was set free on Thursday, September 2, 2021. He was born on January 9, 1972, in Hall County to Linda Cane and the late Bobby Gable. Shane was a very skilled welder and took much pride in the projects that he worked on. He was always the protector of his family. One thing about Shane was that you never had to question if what he was telling you was the truth, whether it was what you wanted to hear or not. He will be remembered as a tough and guarded man by many, but by those who knew him best he will be remembered as a man who could easily drop his guard and let his soft side show. Those people knew him as "Dad" and "the love of their life".

He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Gable and his stepfather, Bobby Cane.

Shane is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Carrie-Jo Gable of Dahlonega; children, Aaron (Caitlyn) Morris of Cumming, Kerry Cane, Andrew Gable, Jacob Gable, Curtis Brown, and Johnathan Brown, all of Dahlonega; mother, Linda Cane; brothers and sisters, Angie Gable of Gillsville, David Gable, and Michael Gable of Dahlonega. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives, as well as his first grandchild that is on the way.

Private family services will be held at Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home.
