Mrs. Shane Mincey, age 51, of Dahlonega, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024.

Shane was born in Hall County on September 27, 1972, to the late A.T. and Glenda Hood Parrish. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Judy Martin. Shane was a member of Nimblewill Baptist Church and an active member of the Nimble Community.  She loved to garden, make crafts, cook, fish, and quilt. Shane's love was felt by many of her neighbors and friends but felt first by her family she deeply loved.

Survivors include her husband, Scott Mincey; brothers Stanley Parrish, Kenneth Parrish, and James Parrish, and sister Belinda Martin; numerous other relatives and friends; and her beloved fur baby "Mickey".

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Nimblewill Baptist Church.  The Rev. John Reece, the Rev. Steve Barrett, the Rev. Jonathan Martin, and Elder Greg Hood will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
