Mrs. Shelia Marie Sorensen, age 66, of Dahlonega passed away Friday, July 13, 2018.

Shelia was born in Thibodaux, Louisiana on May 27, 1952 to the late Clarence and Doris Robert. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Michael Robert. Shelia's love was her grandkids and great grandkids who affectionately called her "Mimi". She loved to use her gift of drawing and spending time gardening in her flowers.  Shelia was a caregiver for many elderly people in the community.

Survivors include her daughter Stephanie Sorensen, Cleveland; son and daughter in law Roger and Tribbie Sorensen, Dahlonega; brother Shannon Robert, Texas; brother and sister in law Billy and Tonya Robert; sisters and brothers in law Doris and Jerry Blackwell; Linda and Charlie Anderson; and Alicia and Flap Trosclair; her companion Jay Wade, Dahlonega; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A celebration of Shelia's life will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
