Shelby Ann Dills, age 65, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on January 22, 2025. She was born on August 1, 1959, to the late Ernest Dills and the late Donna Southers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Wayne Dills, Wade Dills, and Betty Thomas.

Shelby is survived by her loving daughter, Melissa Marchbanks Gilstrap (James Spencer) of Dahlonega; granddaughter Kerrie (Chad) Port of Dahlonega; boyfriend Randall Edwards of Maysville; siblings Wanda (Jeffrey) Dockery, Billy (Pamela) Dills, William (Juanita) Dills, Clayton (Michelle) Dills, Rachel (Terry) Cochran, Jean (Carl) Bolton, Brenda Davis, and Shirley Saine; special niece Linda (Jason) Dowdy; friend Dustin "Harley" Taylor; numerous other nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives also survive.

Shelby cherished spending time outdoors and found joy in the company of visitors, especially if they brought her ice cream or a fish and tomato sandwich. Known for her humor, she delighted in filling rooms with laughter.

Funeral services will be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made directly to Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
