Mrs. Shirley Janet Davis Dellinger, age 68, of Dahlonega passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019.

Mrs. Dellinger was born in Lumpkin County on December 10, 1950.  She was preceded in death by her parents Herman Jefferson and Myrtle Eillene Dale Davis.  Mrs. Dellinger loved coffee, Hersey bars and Diet Coke .  She was affectionately called "Mawmaw" by her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband David Dellinger; daughter and son-in-law Amanda Dellinger and Ronny Yates, Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law David Jr. and Sabrina Dellinger, Midland, NC; son Shane Dellinger, Concord, NC; grandchildren Michael Dellinger, Amber Dellinger, Dustin Dellinger, Megan Dellinger, Dallas Dellinger and Christopher Dellinger; sister Mattie Burrell, Gainesville.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Bobby Whitmire and the Rev. Jimmy Wilbanks will officiate.    The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
