Mrs. Shirley Richardson, age 67, of Flowery Branch, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017. She entered eternal life peacefully at her home following an extended illness.

Mrs. Richardson was born in Towns County on November 10, 1949 to the late Joe and Mary Ethel Hooper.  She was a homemaker who loved cooking and taking care of her family.  Mrs. Richardson's love of cooking was also a God gifted talent. There wasn't anything she couldn't make.  Mrs. Richardson was a member of Harp's Crossing Baptist Church in Fayetteville, GA.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Richardson, Flowery Branch; daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and John Geier, Breiningsville, PA; sons and daughters-in-laws, James Larry Richardson Jr. and Kristi, Flowery Branch, Sean and Tonia Richardson, Flowery Branch; Sisters, Jane Hooper, Flowery Branch, Karen Randolph, Dahlonega; Grandchildren, Lauren Singer, Josef Geier, Faith Richardson, Trinatee Richardson, Makayla Richardson and Great granddaughter Hope Alexander Singer.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 30th, at Banister Funeral Home Chapel, Dahlonega, GA. The Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. before the service.
