Steven 'Steve' Lee Eberle, age 67 , formerly of Bloomington, IN, passed away at his home in Dahlonega, GA on Thursday, April 11th, 2019.  Steve was born on July 4 ^th , 1951 in Bloomington, IN, the son of Virgil R. and Georgia L. (Adkins) Eberle.  Steve attended University High School ('69) in Bloomington.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy, going on to work in several positions of the hardware business in Bloomington and elsewhere.

Steve is survived by his children S. Eric (Greta) Giles, Staci (Gary) Beard, and Shaun (Emily) Eberle; grandchildren Leah Giles, William Giles, Jacob Giles, Gage Beard, Gavin Beard, Kegan Eberle, Abigail Dancer, and Joseph Eberle; and two nephews Chris Eberle and Tim Eberle.  He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother Richard S. Eberle.

He was an avid reader and animal lover who enjoyed kayaking, hiking and being near the water.

As per his wishes a small, private celebration of life will be held later in the year.
