Sue Lane Couch, age 67, a lifelong resident of Dahlonega, GA passed away on August 10, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Sue was the daughter of the late Grady and Birdie Edge.

Sue is survived by her former husband and friend, Ralph Couch, Dahlonega, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Homer and Linda Couch, Dahlonega, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Mark Parnell, Clermont, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Vernon and Barbara Edge, Dahlonega, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Dewey Sutton, Dahlonega, GA, Geraldine and Donald Couch, Dahlonega, GA; sister, Brenda Abernathy, Cleveland, GA; uncle, JD Edge, Dahlonega, GA; and grandson, Christian Couch.  Numerous relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Sue are scheduled for 2 PM Friday August 12, 2016 at Philippi Baptist Church.

Rev. Jason Fuller and Rev. John Dowdy will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Philippi Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Thursday August 11, 2016 from 3 PM to 9 PM and again on Friday August 12, 2016 from 10 AM until time of service.
