Sue Mann, age 83, of Acworth, Georgia, formerly of Dahlonega, passed away on May 26, 2025. She was born on January 9, 1942, in Lagrange, Georgia, to the late Johnny Franklin Morrow and the late Minnie Taylor Morrow. Sue was preceded in death by her daughter Sherri Mann and her sisters Ann Green and Penny Turner.

She is survived by her loving children, Jerry (MaChelle) Mann of Acworth and Stephen Mann of Dahlonega; brother Johnny Morrow Jr. (Venda); grandchildren Danielle (Ryan) Stovall, Tara Acord, Michael Mann, Amber (Austin) Ruiz, Austin Mann, Jessica (Stephen) Wills, Andrew Bassett, and Bethany (Chris) Harrison; 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Affectionately known as "Granny Sue" or "Dah" to her grandchildren and many others whom she held dear, Sue devoted her life to caring for her family and raising her siblings. She found immense joy in spending time with loved ones, prioritizing their happiness above all else. Sue had a passion for visiting the casino and cherished moments spent chatting with friends and family over the phone. She also loved sitting on the porch and "letting loose" as she called it with family and friends. She always felt honored to be needed for any and everything.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Mill Creek Baptist Church. The Reverend Joe Tillman will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the service hour.
