Obituary

Mrs. Susan Leona Pruitt King, age 67, of Stockbridge, GA passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018.

Mrs. King was born on February 13, 1951 in Gainesville, FL to the late Robert Lee Pruitt and Pauline Lunsford Pruitt.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Robyn Pruitt Giadrosich.  Mrs. King was employed with the Thompson Hine Law Firm.  She was known as Susie to her family and friends. Her grandchildren and adopted grandchildren, with great love and affection, gave her the same endearing name.  The highlight of Susie's life was her annual trips to Mountain Lakes with her grandchildren.  Susie loved the Northeast GA Mountains.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Ginger and Troy Gwinn, McDonough, GA; grandson and granddaughter-in-law Neil and Marlee Sanders, McDonough, GA; granddaughters Lexis Sanders and Halie Sanders, McDonough, GA; grandson John Agee, McDonough, GA; granddaughters Emily Gwinn and Natalie Gwinn, McDonough, GA; her "adopted" grandchildren Chris Waggoner, Nick Waggoner, Jonathan Waggoner, Christina Warhola, and Kyla Warhola; brother and sister-in-law Dr. Don and Theresa Pruitt, Hazard, KY; sister Gayle Bass, Cleveland, GA; sister and brother-in-law Judy and Stan Stover, Cleveland, GA; sister Sherry Hudson, Stockbridge, GA; sister and brother-in-law Joy and Larry Barker, Gainesville, GA; sister and brother-in-law Dale and John Waggoner, Ellenwood, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Susie's wishes were to be cremated.  There will be a Celebration of her Life at 5:00 PM Sunday, October 28, 2018 in the chapel of Anderson - Underwood Funeral Home.  The Reverend Chris Anderson and Dr. Don Pruitt will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
