Mrs. Teresa Hope Blackwell, age 45, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Halcyon Hospice in Atlanta, GA following an extended illness. Mrs. Blackwell was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County, a homemaker and member of Yahoola Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. Teresa is survived by her husband, Grady Blackwell, Dahlonega, GA; children, Truman Cantrell, Randall, Joshua, and Brandy Budai, and Bryson Williams; stepchildren, Jamie, Kim, John and Justin Blackwell; father, Frank Hope, Dahlonega, GA; mother, Nellie Hope, Dahlonega, GA; sisters, Becky Gee and Ina Wise, both of Dahlonega, GA. 3 grandchildren and a large number of other relatives also survive. Funeral services for Teresa are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Yahoola Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. Rev. Lyman Caldwell and Rev. Tony Allison will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Thursday, October 17th from 2 PM until 9 PM, all day on Friday, October 18th, and again on Saturday until the time of service.
