Terisa Ann
Harkins
May 13, 1968 – January 29, 2026
Terisa Ann Harkins, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on January 29, 2026. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 13, 1968, to the late Lonzo Williams and Hazel Savage Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Harkins; her son, Eric Wigington; and her brothers, Ronald Williams and Ralph Williams.
Terisa was known for her outgoing spirit and fiercely independent nature. She loved being on the road — whether it was driving her beloved pink Jeep down dirt roads, going four-wheeling, or heading out for a fun night of dancing. She enjoyed fishing for trout, cooking big meals at home for her family, and making sure everyone around her felt loved. Terisa had a joyful heart, a fun-loving personality, and a goodness that will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly (Rodney) Rider of Dahlonega, Chris (Bridget) Wigington of Dahlonega, and Britany (Jason) Ricketts of Dahlonega; her grandchildren, Krysta (Avery) Givens, Katie Rider, Mackenzie Wigington, Asher Wigington, Jayden Walters, Kason Ricketts, Landon Ricketts, Autumn Wigington, Logan Ricketts, and Chevy Ricketts; and her great-grandchildren, Everett Givens, Madelyn Givens, and Stetsyn Dowdle.
Terisa is also survived by her former spouse, Stanley Wigington; her significant other, Cheminh "Che" Howe; her siblings, Patricia "Trish" Williams and Bob Williams; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and her beloved dog, Coco, whom she considered one of her children.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home, with Rev. Lyman Caldwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
