Mr. Terry Gardner Smith, age 69, of Cleveland, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

Terry was born in Roswell, GA on August 26, 1953, to the late Leon Smith and Bobbie Abee Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Melanie Hardy. Terry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was very devoted to his family. Terry's sense of humor was contagious, his feisty personality was one to have, and his ability to fix anything with a motor was envious. Terry was an avid NASCAR fan. Above all his abilities, one of his favorite days was in 1982 when at the beach he met the love of his life, Karen. The life they made was beautiful and comes once in a lifetime. Terry was strong in his faith and his relationship with Christ. He is now in His presence and will be greatly missed.

Missing him most will be his beloved wife, Karen Smith; children Jessica Morris (John), Scott Denard III, Benjamin Denard Sr.; niece Shannon Shelton; grandchildren Jax Morris, Jolie Morris, Jaycee Morris, Benjamin David Denard II, Jaxson Denard; several other relatives and friends.

Terry's wishes were to be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
