Mrs. Theresa "Terry" Carol Perry, age 77, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away peacefully on July 10,  2025.  She was born on November 16, 1947, in Tallassee, Alabama, to the late William Shores and Dorothy Hartshorne Shores. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Perry.

Mrs. Perry is survived by her daughter, Elayne (Randy) Dowdy of Dahlonega and son, Scott West of Cleveland, TN; stepchildren Tonya Perry and Danny (Amanda) Perry of Dahlonega; grandchildren Weston (Jesse) Dowdy, Lindsay (Triston) Price, Kurt West, Anna Martin, Jack Howard, Dylan (Diana) Perry, Erika (James) Newby, and several great-grandchildren. Mrs. Perry was of the Baptist faith. She worked at Southern Switches for many years and also at Camp Merrill at the commissary and mailroom. She  enjoyed riding and caring for her horses and going to the beach brought her much joy.
