Thomas Keith Morey, age 66, of Clarkesville, GA, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016.

Tom was born in Lansing, MI, March 24, 1949. He had lived in Clarkesville since 2004. He was a retired truck driver and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Tom was the son of the late Keith and Mary Alice Morey and was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Morey; and sister, Pamela Ann Frazier.

He is survived by children, Thomas Morey and Johnny Morey, both of Menard, TX, Brian Shaver, Shane, and Wesley, and Sarah Shiver, Northglenn, Colorado; brother, Timothy Morey, Montana; sisters, Charity Ruff, Dahlonega, GA and Margaret Halverson, Sevierville, TN.

Tom was cremated and a graveside service for burial of his ashes will be at 2 PM on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Dahlonega, GA.

Chaplain Jackson will officiate.

Military honors will be provided by the Veterans Alliance Honor Guard.
