Mr. Timmy Floyd, age 57, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022.  He was born on March 25, 1965, to the late Paul Dewey Cothran and Nell Blanchard Massey.  Timmy will always be remembered for his willingness to help people.  He enjoyed driving anyone who needed a ride to their doctors appointments or to get their groceries.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters June Brannon and Debbie Jarrett; and daughter Dawn Kidd.

Survivors include his significant other, Brenda Young of Dahlonega; daughter Lisa Croy of Mt. Airy; son Paul Floyd of Cumming; stepson Victor Guerrero; sisters Tammy (Frank) Barnes of Cartersville and June (Ricky) Brannon ; brothers Lanier Floyd of Cumming and James Shipp of Cherokee Co.; brother-in-law Tommy (Connie) Ross of Dawsonville; sisters-in-law Mary Hall of Dahlonega and Ruth (Leroy) Piper of Marietta. Timmy is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, February 18, 2022, at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Tommy Ross will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service hour Friday at the funeral home.
