Mr. Timothy Lane West, age 56, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020.

Tim was born in Hall County on December 10, 1963 to the late Joe and Barbara Sullens West. He was self-employed as a heavy equipment operator. Tim loved to hunt and fish and especially visiting his "honey hole" to catch German trout. He was a member of Murrayville Baptist Church.

Survivors include his best friend and loving wife, whom he has been with for 38 years, Sherl West, Gainesville; children Jodi and Dustin Bennett, Murrayville, Ben West, Dahlonega, and Joe Robinson, Gainesville; grandchildren G.T. Dyer, Lola Robinson, Aidan Dyer, Brycen Dyer, Tommy Robinson, Brelynn Bennett, Brooklynn Bennett, Brelle Robinson, and Ethan Lane Robinson; cousins Robert West, Randall West, and Benny West; and other loving family and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, June 27, 2020 at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Dwayne Smith, Sr. will officiate. Interment will follow in Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday at the funeral home.
