Travis Rider, age 60, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on January 18, 2025. He was born on August 30, 1964, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late Martha Sue Sanford Rider. Travis is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Lane Rider; sons Travis "TJ" Rider Jr (Mallory) and Trevor Rider; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and other relatives.

Travis was passionate about fly fishing and hunting, pursuits that both brought him joy throughout his life. Known for his craftsmanship, he worked as a dedicated home builder in the Lumpkin County area, leaving behind a legacy of skill and artistry in his work.

In accordance with his wishes, Travis will be cremated, and private services will be held at a later date.
