Mr. Wade "Grover" Waters, age 81, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on May 23, 2023. He was born on April 19, 1942, to the late Edgar Waters and the late Lela Chester Waters. Grover worked for Pinetree and for the Lumpkin County Farmers Association. In his younger days, he enjoyed coon hunting with his brothers and friends. When he got older, his favorite pastime was socializing at the co-op. He loved being home, spending time with friends and family, his grand dogs, talking to his bestfriend Joe Spooner, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Myral Frazier, Kenneth Waters, Ralph Waters, Clayton Waters, Joe Waters,

Opal Southern, and Carlton Waters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Robbie "Jeanie" Waters of Dahlonega; daughter Lindsay Waters of Marietta; and sister Susie (Bobby) Kinnard.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 26, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Lyman Caldwell and the Rev. Gary Moore will officiate. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
