Mr. Vitty Walter "Walt" Dobruck, Sr., age 79, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021. He was born on June 17, 1942, in Hartford, Connecticut to the late Walter Vitty Dobruck and the late Helen Catherine Gegesky. Walt was well known in the Dahlonega area for his time spent in the construction industry. He was the owner and operator of Dobruck Construction Company. Many also remember him from his time as the grounds manager at Camp of Colors for over 10 years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Rosanne Dobruck.

He is survived by his children, Debbie Buchanan (Gary) of Auburndale, FL, Mark Dobruck (Judy) of Haines City, FL, and J.R. Dobruck (Faith) of Lake Wales, FL; step-children Marion Oppenheimer, Palm Harbor, FL, Vicky Drake (Mark), New Port Richey, FL, Cherie Livernois (Kenny), Tarpon Springs, FL, and Theresa Ripa (Peter), Escondido, CA; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Antioch Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the service hour at the funeral home.
