Mr. William Hoyt Dover, Jr., age 48, of Dahlonega passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018.

William was born in Hall County on May 6, 1970 to the late William Hoyt, Sr. and Ruth Summerour Dover. He worked in construction most of his life and most recently he worked at Mt. Yonah Lumber Company.

Survivors include his sons Rudy Dover, Dahlonega, and Andrew Dover, Cleveland; granddaughters Melanie Dover, and Brooke Dover; sister and brother-in-law Frankie and William Lee, Cleveland; brothers Roger Dover, Dahlonega, and Homer Dover, Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law Danny and Debbie Dover, Dahlonega; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Summerour Family Cemetery.  The Rev. Marc Turner and the Rev. Jamie Wade will officiate.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to cover William's final expenses.
