Mr. William "Bill" Moose, age 67, of Dahlonega passed away Friday, July 12, 2019.

Bill was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County.  He was born on November 29, 1951 to the late Ramey and Lois Thomason Moose.  Along with his parents Bill was preceded in death by several siblings and their spouses.  He served his country honorably in the United States Army.  Bill worked in paint and body and he owned his own business.  He attended Concord Baptist Church.

Survivors include his beloved dog and companion "Krippy"; sister Sue Dover; sister and brother-in-law Nell and Ray Bearden, all of Dahlonega; several friends, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Sunday, July 14, 2019 at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home.  The Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.  Military funeral honors will be given immediately following the service.  Bill's wishes were to be cremated after the service.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
