Heaven's gain was our loss on June 15, 2020 when our sweet baby girl Zoey Grace Hicks came into this world too soon and left this world too soon.

Zoey was born on June 15, 2020 to parents Rosetta Welch and Hunter Hicks of Dahlonega. She is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Violet Blackwell and her paternal great-grandfather, Vernon Hicks.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Jeanette "Nana" Welch and Billy "Papa" Welch; paternal grandparents, Anthony Hicks and Brandy Hicks; paternal great-grandmother, Dolly Wilkins; aunts and uncles, Billy Joe (Kara) Welch, Nathan (Jennifer) Welch, Carl (Kenzie) Welch, Coby (Heather) Turner, Mathew Hicks, and Page Hicks.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Allison officiating.
